Just received and installed the Robofocus V3.1 on the Takahashi FSQ 106 EDXIII.
This is the last piece of hardware that was needed to work fully remotely.
The L-plate to connect the robofocus to the focuser shaft of the FSQ was made by myself from 2mm thick stainless steel.
Just received this small and great device from Lunatico ( http://lunatico.es/ )
It will help me to detect unwanted weather changes during imaging sessions.

Just got my new telescope, a Takahashi FSQ 106 EDX III.
The EDX has a fixed captains wheel rotater , so that less flexure will be in the imaging system.
On the 6th of june i have been traveling for 3 hours from my home town in IJmuiden to Eemshaven.
When I arrived there at around 4 am, I had around 1 hour before the sun would come up from the horizon.
At that moment the planet Venus was already in front of the suns disk.
I joined a group of astronomers, and we were lucky to see around 10 to 15 minutes of the transit before clouds came in 
.
It is in test phase, but i got my weather station already up and running.
The weather station, a Oregon Scientific WMR-200 is connected to my server with software Weather Display and Weather Display Live to show the weather data online.
